      Another possibility was the marriage between William Howell and Jane Davies in Swansea in 1825. However, this William signed his name as "William Howell Jr" and died in 1829. His will can be viewed on The National Library of Wales website:

      On the third and fourth images his name is given as "William Howell Junr". The third image also includes his occupation, Copper Refiner. This couple had at least two children, Mary Howel baptised 1826 in Swansea, and William Jenkin Howell batised 1828. The records include William's occupation of refiner/copper refiner:
