Publicans' Cases.
 - At the Justice of Peace Court, on Monday, William Doherty, publican, Strathaven, was fined ?1, 5s., with 14s. of expenses, for allowing parties to drink in his house on Sunday, 4th current. - Matthew Golder, grocer and spirit dealer, Strathaven, was amerced in a like mitigated penalty, with 5s. 6d. of expenses, for having on Wednesday the 14th current, about a quarter past twelve o'clock midnight, allowed parties to drink within his premises, in breach of his license certificate. - William Fleming, grocer and spirit dealer, Bowbutts, near Ryland Toll, in the parish of Avondale, was similarly dealt with as the last contravenor, for having on Saturday, 10th current, sold spirituous liquors to several parties, and allowed the same to be consumed on his premises, in breach of his license certificate.
